Frances Blake Hahne
Savannah - Mrs. Frances Blake Hahne 82, passed away Sunday, July 13th, at her home in Savannah surrounded by her entire family.
She is a native of Savannah where she spent her entire life. She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and was retired from Chatham County Courthouse, where she worked for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert E. Blake and John Wilfred Blake, Jr.
Mrs. Hahne is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Mr. Francis J. Hahne Jr., of Savannah, GA; one son, Mr. Francis J. Hahne III Penny of TN, two daughters, Sharon H. Conn Dick of SC and Eleanor H. Wiggins Ronnie of Savannah; eight grandchildren, Travis Conn Christy of Spartanburg, SC, Molly Conn of Charleston, SC, Danielle Long Hahne of Atlanta, GA, Matt Conn of Birmingham, AL, Ryan Wiggins of Savannah, Emily Rosteck Tanner of Memphis, TN, Andy Conn of Spartanburg, SC, and Blake Wiggins of Savannah; one great-grandchild Peyton Rosteck of TN; also one niece Brenda Blake Loven Billy, Maggie.
Visitation celebrating the life of Frances Blake Hahne will be held on Monday, July 14th, 2008, at the Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel, from 5pm-7pm. Monsignor P. James Costigan will be performing the Vigil Service at 6:00 pm.
A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 15th, followed by a graveside service at Bonaventure Cemetery, with Father Patrick O'Brian performing the service.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons Travis Conn, Matt Conn, Ryan Wiggins, Andy Conn, Blake Wiggins, & nephew Billy Loven.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice Savannah, Inc., P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
